A recent podcast on indiewire discusses the best ratings and most watched episodes on television. For the networks it is a good opportunity to launch a good show post Super Bowl. Liz Shannon Miller and TV critic Ben Travers discuss their favorite post Super Bowl show. I found it interesting that the number of people who watch the Super Bowl is decreasing, but it is still a good opportunity for shows to air. The point that was interesting was when they discussed the difference of different stations if the Super Bowl were to air on NBC or ABC. The only thing that left me questioning is who actually decides what show plays and also how do television shows make their way into that most wanted slot?
