(3)Why Hollywood as We Know it is Already Over

A recent article posted by vanity fair focuses on Nick Bilton’s thoughts on what lies ahead for Hollywood as we know it. Nick gives good insight about his experiences within the film world and working on set. I thought it was interesting how he compared his experiences with the music business and how it was effected by mp3 downloads, which drastically changed the business side of music. I agree that there are similar situations happening within the film world and hollywood. All of this is also related to digital versions of print publishing. I think as movie theatre goers are decreasing with new streaming available for people that Hollywood is going to continue to change just as the music and print business changed as well. Even though film is different from music and print, it is also very similar because of the advancing technology allowing people to stream things on their own using sites such as netflix rather than spending money at a theatre.
